Adding Care to Health

We are a family owned, AGPAL accredited General Practice, dedicated to providing you and your family with personalised, professional, quality healthcare. We have a team of dedicated friendly staff and doctors who can efficiently assist you with your healthcare needs.
Providing good patient care is our primary concern, alongside facilitating coordination and continuity of care. We recognise and respect your right to make your own decisions.
We assess your healthcare needs, taking into account your views, your history and your current physical conditions followed by an appropriate physical examination, if required.
We are aware that we are your first port of call for your healthcare needs. While we do our best to formulate and implement a suitable management plan (including arranging investigations and providing information, treatment and advice), we also refer you to specialist practitioners when this is in your best interests.
We believe in a good doctor-patient relationship based on respect, openness, trust and good communication.
Services Offered
Aged Care Facility Support
We provide timely and high-quality general practitioner (GP) services to patients in Onkaparinga Valley Residential Care (OVRC), almost on a daily basis.
Children’s Health
The prenatal, childhood and adolescent phases of development strongly influence an individual’s subsequent health, wellbeing and opportunities in life.
We promote optimal health in children by encouraging food variety and physical activity, as active and growing children need good nutrition to build healthy bodies to help them be the best they can be.
Chronic Disease Management
A chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer which requires either a GP Management Plan or a Team Care Arrangement to better manage your condition through an organised and structured approach.
Dietetics & Nutrition
Dietitians at our practice work in partnership with our GPs and other allied health professionals to improve patient outcomes as they have the qualifications and skills to modify diets and to treat diseases and conditions such as diabetes, overweight and obesity, cancer, heart disease, renal disease, gastro-intestinal diseases and food allergies.
Electrocardiography (ECG)
The ECG is a safe and non-invasive procedure with no known risks. GPs at our practice may recommend an ECG if a patient is experiencing symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, or fast or irregular heartbeats (palpitations) or if you may be at risk of heart disease because there is a family history of heart disease, or because you smoke, are overweight, or have diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
Exercise Physiology
Accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) at our practice specialize in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. AEPs provide support for our patients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, mental health problems, cancer, arthritis, pulmonary disease and more.
Health Assessments
Health assessments play an important role in population health, both in screening for risk and providing an opportunity for early intervention. Most assessments are bulk billed. What more? Please talk to one of our friendly GPs to find out if we can help you to put preventive measures in place.
Home Medication Review
We provide Home Medication Reviews to maximise an individual patient’s benefit from their medication regimen, and prevent medication-related problems through a team approach, involving our GPs and the patient’s preferred community pharmacy (with or without the involvement of other relevant members of the health care team, such as nurses in community practice or carers).
Immunisation
Immunisation is the safest and most effective way of giving you and your family protection against a variety of diseases that may cause significant illness, permanent damage or even death. Immunisation starts at birth and continues through various stages of human life. We offer all childhood immunisation as per NIP (National Immunisation Program) schedules and arrange catch up programs for children who have missed any of the vaccines. We also provide flu vaccines during the flu seasons, free shingles and anti-pneumonia vaccines for people over 65 and offer advices on all other vaccinations as per Australian Government Guidelines. Ask one of our friendly doctors or nurses for more information.
Men’s Health
Men have their own set of problems. Australian institute of Health and Welfare states men in Australia have generally poorer health than women, 50% of men have experienced violence since turning 15 and the same number have experienced sexual difficulty. Why not speak to our male GP to find out if we can help?
Mental Health
Mental health disorder describes a wide range of disorders such as depression, anxiety, stress, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, each varying in its severity, the effect of which can be severe on the individuals and families concerned. Book an appointment today to speak to our psychologist.

Our friendly nurses can explain you everything from the care cycle needed for a new born, and vaccination intervals for kids to periodic check-ups necessary to monitor good growth of the kids.

Our Psychologists can extend their professional services to our patients who need help with stressful situations, overcome addictions, manage their chronic illnesses and break past the barriers that keep them from reaching their goals.

Travel Medicine
Overseas travel exposes you to wonderful new experiences, but it can also expose you to potentially serious health risks. Book an appointment with one of our GPs, ideally 4 weeks ahead of travel for advice and vaccination – even if you are well.
